Jennifer Greenwood, PhD, CRNA, APRN

Jennifer Greenwood is an Assistant Professor in the College of Health Professions at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. In this role, Dr. Greenwood coordinates the doctoral education for the nurse anesthesia students and conducts research on simulation training, scope of practice, and knowledge integration to promote the evidence-based practice.

Dr. Greenwood has more than 14 years of clinical anesthesia experience, working as a preceptor for student learners for much of that time. Prior to her role in doctoral education, she was the clinical coordinator for 24 anesthesia training sites, which allowed her to teach other preceptors how to be more effective as clinical educators.

In addition to a successful career as a clinician in anesthesia, Dr. Greenwood now lectures on anesthesia topics and evidence-based models of care to train the next generation of nurse anesthetists to achieve the same success. Passionate about teaching and facilitating learning to improve patient care, Dr. Greenwood has collaborated on this video series to enhance preceptorship at our clinical affiliates and beyond.
