Typical Week:
- Monday - Friday
- Weekends off, but on call for Lovell FHCC and AMCK
Monday - Friday
- 7:00 - 7:45 am: textbook chapter review
- 8:00 am: start outpatient or inpatient service
- Time available year-round on most days to study board review videos prepared by leading pulmonary organizations
- Finish clinical duties approximately 5:00 - 6:00 pm (though could be later depending on circumstances)
Friday afternoon weekly didactics
- 1:00 pm: interesting case conference
- 2:00 pm: pulmonary grand rounds
- 3:00 pm: journal club
Continuity clinic
- 3 days per week at Lovell FHCC and ½ day per week at Mt. Sinai
Scholarship other than scheduled didactics
- Attendance and participation in local and international pulmonary conferences
- Conducting, writing up, and presenting clinical research
- Participation in writing of review material, as textbook chapters
- Participation in quality improvement projects
