Mary Lynn Mattes, MS, PA (ASCP)cm

Mary L. Mattes is the Chair and Program Director for the Pathologists' Assistant Department. She joined the university in 2012 after practicing in the academic, clinical setting for five years. During her time as a pathologists' assistant at the University of South Florida and Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC she participated in medical education, research and quality assurance. Mary received her Master of Science in Pathologists' Assistant Studies from Rosalind Franklin University and her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of Iowa.
