Dr. Jincy Joseph is an established and highly skilled physician with over 16 years of experience in family medicine. She is well regarded among her colleagues, staff and patients and has earned numerous accolades for her quality and patient-centered care. While training in her specialty at Loyola University Medical Center, she was selected among her peers to serve as Chief Resident. She also received fellowship training in Faculty Development and has since enjoyed actively precepting medical students and resident physicians over the course of her career. While initially in private practice after residency training, Dr. Joseph received multiple Patient Choice Awards for eight consecutive years.

She is trained in multiple-office based procedures, most recently Acupuncture and Clinical Hypnosis. She has served on multiple hospital committees, many with Chairperson and leadership roles. In 2011 she was nominated for YWCA Woman of the Year.

Since joining the North Chicago VA in 2014, she continues to receive patient care awards. She has been very active with the Veteran patients and clinical staff, serving in primary care and Women’s health roles and actively leading veterans to better health, especially as the hospital’s physician facilitator for Whole Health. Dr. Joseph has remained active with both hospital and community involvement. She is a media contact for the Illinois Academy of Family Practice. Her service over the years has earned her the designation of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Joseph’s passion is driven by the bonds she builds with her patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment she holds in keeping them healthy and well.
