Douglas Propp, MD
Dr. Douglas A. Propp serves as chair and medical director of emergency medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, a Level I trauma center. Dr. Propp received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana, his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and his Master of Science in Administrative Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed his internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and a residency in emergency medicine at University of Illinois Affiliated Hospitals, ultimately serving as chief resident.
Publications include Annals of Emergency Medicine (varied); New England Journal of Medicine (letter) January 8, 2004; and the American Journal of Emergency Medicine (study) October 2003.
