Dirk R. de Haas, MD

Dr. Dirk de Haas is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He attended UCLA, where he majored in kinesiology. He received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School. He interned in Internal Medicine at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. After returning to civilian life, Dr. de Haas completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the UC Irvine Medical Centers in Orange County. 

Dr. de Haas has held several positions, including Division Officer in the Navy, and various leadership positions, such as Special Operations Doctor in emergency departments. He is recognized in his field as a problem solver and organizer who can turn around emergency departments that are experiencing operational challenges.
