Derek Talbot, DC, PhD.
Dr. Talbot holds a BS degree in Biology from Oakland University and is a Summa Cum Laude graduate with a degree of Doctor of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences. Dr. Talbot is also a graduate of Rosalind Franklin University with a PhD degree in Interprofessional Healthcare Studies / Health Professions Education Track.
Dr. Talbot has been a faculty member of Scholl College since 2001. He currently lectures in several first-year courses and is the course coordinator for the Neuroscience Course and co-coordinator for the Lower Extremity Anatomy Course and Structure and Function Course. Dr. Talbot’s research interests include anatomical education and interprofessional collaborative management of diabetic foot ulcers. Dr. Talbot’s personal interests include spending time with his family, golfing, fishing and being an active member of his church.
