Alison Joseph, DPM
Dr. Joseph graduated from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame in 2003. She then obtained her DPM degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (Kent State). Following podiatry school, Dr. Joseph completed a 3-year surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Joseph was then hired by University Hospital in Newark, NJ as an attending for the podiatry residency where she trained residents in the clinical, operative and hospital setting. Dr. Joseph left the east coast to be closer to family and friends and accepted a full-time position at Scholl College as an assistant professor. While she loved being in the classroom setting, her desire to return to a hospital position full time lead her to take a job as chief of podiatry at Lovell Federal Health Care Center. Dr. Joseph is thrilled to continue teaching part time at Scholl College as an instructor in the medicine workshop. She has a great interest in treating diabetic foot disorders/limb salvage as well as trauma of the foot and ankle. Dr. Joseph is board certified in forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction/ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
