Rapid changes in healthcare delivery are helping to drive the expansion of pharmacy’s scope of practice. Today’s pharmacists are leaders in the pharmaceutical industry, conduct research to discover new and more effective medications, and create healthier communities through patient education and advocacy.
Our innovative experiential pharmacy curriculum puts students into healthcare settings as early as the first academic quarter. In addition to learning from experts in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences, COP students also benefit from Rosalind Franklin University’s commitment to interprofessional education. By taking some classes alongside students from RFU’s other clinical programs, COP graduates understand and appreciate how to collaborate with their colleagues to improve health outcomes through team-based, patient-centered care.
