Curriculum

The Biomedical Sciences program provides a rigorous basic science curriculum that prepares you to reach your professional goals in graduate health professions education. All students in the Biomedical Sciences program are required to take the series of core basic science courses (Clinical Molecular Cell Biology, Medical Biochemistry, Physiological Basis of Medicine, Medical Neuroscience, and Topics in Physiology), Foundations of Clinical Medicine, Foundations of Clinical Anatomy, Introduction to Interprofessional Healthcare, Bioethics and 2 electives from approved courses that are part of the online programs in Health Administration, Population Health, Nutrition and/or Lifestyle Medicine.
