Are there any prerequisite courses for admission?
We do not require any specific coursework. We require all students have a Master of Science degree and current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
What is the timeline for the admissions process?
The DNP Completion program admits students starting in the summer quarter only. For the current admissions cycle, applicants must submit their application by April 26, 2021, in order to start the program in late May 2020. The DNP completion program uses a rolling admissions process.
Please complete your application in RFU Centralized Application Service (RFUCAS). Once an application is completed and verified by RFUCAS, it will be reviewed by the DNP Admissions Committee.
How can I check on my application status?
Once your application has been verified through RFUCAS, Rosalind Franklin University will send you an email confirming receipt of your application. You can check on your application with the Admissions Office at: (847) 578-3204 or via email at grad.admissions@rosalindfranklin.edu.
What is the program start date?
The 24-month program of study begins in the summer quarter (late May) each year.
How long is the program?
DNP Completion Level Program: 24 Months, part-time.
What is the class size?
We seek to enroll 25 students.
Can I transfer into the program?
The College of Health Professions does not accept transfer students. However, on a case-by-case basis, the admissions committee will review graduate coursework to award advanced standing credit.
