Before you Arrive on Campus

Before coming to campus, any student, faculty or staff member must submit documentation demonstrating that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption.

Beginning Jan. 4, 2022, all students, faculty, staff and visitors who will be on campus for any reason through Jan. 17 will be required to obtain a laboratory-based negative COVID test within 48 hours prior to their initial return to campus.

Report Illness or Exposure

Students and Faculty/Staff should utilize the COVID-19 Illness report if they are experiencing symptoms, a possible exposure, or have a suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). For more information on please refer to common questions

Ongoing Prevention

  • Non-vaccinated students, faculty and staff are required to be tested every week for COVID-19. This applies to all employees assigned to the Main Campus, Huntley Simulation Center, and the Health Clinics, regardless of whether the individual is working from home or has an exemption on file. Any student, faculty or staff member who has tested positive for COVID-19 will be excused from testing for 90 days, after which time, the individual will be required to re-engage in testing or follow the protocol in place at the time.
  • All students, faculty and staff must follow RFU's Travel Guidelines for personal and university-sponsored travel.
  • Anyone who is sick must not come to campus and must contact their healthcare provider for guidance.

Campus Resources

Faculty and staff should contact their primary care provider with questions about their health, including accessing vaccines. Those who have symptoms and have accessed RFU's campus must contact HR or Student Affairs.
