Lee Concha, MA

Senior Vice President for University Enhancement

Lee Concha joined Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in January 2011 as executive director of marketing and communications. In that role, she led the institution's social media, media relations, brand management, reputation management and advertising programs. She also provided strategic communications counsel to key administrators, served as a member of the crisis communications team, and managed the production of the university's magazine and annual report.

In December 2014, Ms. Concha was named associate vice president for digital strategy, a new role at the university, which oversees the re-development of the institution's website, social media efforts, and future digital initiatives that support the university's strategic objectives.

In March 2015, the university integrated its marketing communications efforts and appointed Ms. Concha vice president for marketing and brand management. This new division executes a cohesive marketing program that focuses on lead generation and provides counsel, production, support and resources, continuing to raise the university’s profile with key audiences.

Prior to joining RFU, Ms. Concha was the vice president for public relations and communications at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, one of the largest human services organizations in the Chicagoland area. While with the YMCA, she managed a two-year public relations campaign to celebrate the Y's sesquicentennial, which culminated in raising a record-setting $1 million in one evening. While leading the association's public relations, social media and web development initiatives, she also provided strategic counsel and media training to Y executives and local center staff.

Ms. Concha started her career in government, serving the State of Illinois through positions at the Office of the Governor and the Office of the State Treasurer. She earned a master's degree from University of Florida and undergraduate degrees from University of Miami. She is a member of the board of directors of the Palatine Opportunity Center.
