The Office of Academic Support strives to provide academic support to all students outside of the classroom, enriching student success. We meet with students individually, helping them acclimate to this new academic environment, develop effective time management skills, and establish study schedules. We work with students individually to provide the most effective schedule for their individual needs. To help students in this process, the Boxer Library has made the book Make It Stick: The Science of Successful Learning available to all students at no cost. We highly recommend that you read this informative and engaging book before you arrive.
You can access Make it Stick via the link below. You will need to be signed in to InSite (Reminder: InSite is accessed through your Helixnet login which is also used for setting up your RFUMS email account.)

The Office of Student Life encourages participation in student activities as an excellent way to experience personal growth, meet new friends, share common interests with other students, faculty, and staff, and have some fun outside the classroom. OSL assists Registered Student Organizations to create and implement programs and activities that will enhance their leadership skills and help the organizations fulfill their primary goals.
With over 80 student organizations on campus there are many events and activities for students to be involved in. We encourage you to explore our current student organizations through our Engage Website. This website will allow you to view all the different organizations and activities on campus, and familiarize with those that you may be most interested in. Please note, you will not be able to sign in to this platform to register for events or join organizations just yet – that will become available closer to your first day of classes. Until then, browse the organizations and events, explore your interests, and consider if there are organizations you would like to charter at RFU.
