Patrick McClane Withrow, PT, DPT, GCS


Dr. Withrow received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from RFUMS in 2008, and joined the faculty in 2013 as the Director of Clinical Education. He is a Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He continues to practice on a limited basis in the acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings with particular interest in critical care, early mobilization, geriatrics, and the prevention of falls in older adults. Dr. Withrow is an Advanced Credentialed Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He was recently elected to a 3 year term on the Ethics Committee of the Illinois Physical Therapy Association (IPTA), and has been an Assembly Representative for the Eastern District of the IPTA since 2009. He is the current Secretary of the Chicago Area Clinical Educators Forum (CACEF). Dr. Withrow has published in the peer-reviewed journal Physiotherapy Theory and Practice.
