Kelly Izsak, MS, PA-C

Instructor

Kelly graduated from University of Toledo’s Physician Assistant program and has worked at the Northshore University Health System’s (NUH) Emergency Department for ten years. She has prior educational experience as a clinical preceptor for physician assistant (PA) students and is currently an instructor of the American Heart Association ACLS and Fast track classes for NUH employees. In addition, Kelly lectures for the NP/PA Emergency Medicine Fellowship at NUH. Over the past year Kelly taught introduction to EKG, hands-on skills in the physical exam and clinical procedure labs, and emergency medicine at RFUMS. Prior to becoming a physician assistant she was a registered dietitian and worked with the Lurie Children’s Epilepsy Team to provide dietetic education, support, and treatment to children with epilepsy and their families. Kelly enjoys her career in academia while keeping current with her clinical skills by working in the emergency room.
